Hampshire College is in the process of developing a Wellness Challenge, to help our community seek balance in all key aspects of wellness. In the mean time, try this activity, based on the Six Dimensions of Wellness from the National Wellness Institute.

  • Read about the Six Dimensons of Wellness.
  • Check out Hampshire's Wellness Wheel.
  • Rank how fulfilled you feel in each area in your life, 1 = totally unfulfilled, 5 = very fulfilled.
  • Examine the dimensions you identified feeling less fulfilled in. Identify some steps you could take or practices you might engage in to nurture those aspects of your life. You can also schedule a coaching session to talk this through with a Holistic Learning Program staff member, we love talking about balance and wellness.
  • Determine which dimension you'd like to focus on first.
  • See our staff or our Time Management Guide in the Holistic Learning Toolbox to get tips on how to turn your goals into action.
